Public Events Calendar

The Public Events Calendar, posted on the City of Waupun website, is updated on a regular basis with a variety of public events/activities and public meetings.

 

Waupun Activities

Downtown Waupun Farmers Market - An outlet for local producers to sell their products and provides the community with access to fresh foods and associated crafts from small vendors, hobby farmers and local gardens.  Enjoy fresh produce, crafts, entertainment and more! Farmers markets are held rain or shine, in the O'Connor, Wells, & Vander Werff Hall Parking Lot and nearby Forest Street.  The Downtown Waupun Farmers Market is on Saturday's from 8 am to 12 noon from June through September.

Downtown Waupun Winter Market - Occurs the 2nd Saturday November through March from 9 am to 12 noon!  Market takes place in the Crossroads Fellowship  (846 E Main Street).  Additional Parking in the back parking lot. 

Jud-son's Bowling Alley

The Rock Golf Club - An 18-hole course, known as one of the best-kept secrets in the state by avid golfers.

Waupun Area School District - Man athletic, art, and music events are open to the public.

Waupun County Park  - This 103 acre park is located at 825 County Park Road (also known as County Highway MMM), on the northwest edge of the City of Waupun.

Waupun Family Aquatic Center - This beautiful facility features  zero depth entry, two water slides, a kiddie slide, water spouts and fountains, a lap pool area and diving board.  Closed for the 2020 season.

Waupun Festivals - A non-profit organization committed to promoting the City of Waupun by highlighting our quality of life through a variety of cultural events and fun-filled experiences.

Waupun Heritage Museum - Located in the old Carnegie Library is the Waupun Heritage Museum.  You will enjoy a complete military exhibit, local settler and business antiques, as well as interesting and unique items like the tonsillectomy chair, fossils, and a human skull.

Waupun Public Library - 

Waupun Senior Center - A great place for people age 50 and over or married to someone age 50 and over to meet new people, try new things, and stay active. Volunteers are also welcome, whether it is for a one-time event or on a weekly basis.  The Waupun Senior Center is open to all seniors, whether you live in Waupun or surrounding communities. 

 

Regional Activities

Horicon Marsh - Offers a variety of recreational opportunities for all seasons.  Wildlife observation, photography, hiking trails including 1400 ft. boardwalk, geocaching, paddling, fishing, educational programs, guided tours, bicycling, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, in season waterfowl, deer and upland game hunting are just some of the many activities visitors can experience.

Marsh Haven Nature Center - Located on the north end of the world famous Horicon Marsh, a couple of miles east of Waupun on Hwy 49.
