Boards and Commissions
Cities create boards and commissions by ordinance to enable citizens to participate in our government process. Their decisions help influence and shape how many departments operation and overall city public policy. Each board works with and advises City Departments and/or the Common Council on related issues. Individuals and groups may present issues to any of the boards as each provides opportunities for public comment at its meetings.

Open Meeting Law
Meetings of the Waupun Common Council and Boards and Commissions are governed by the Wisconsin Statutes[I2] §19.81 (commonly referred to as the Open Meeting Law.)
Apply to Be Appointed to a Board, Commission, or Committee
Appointments are made by the Mayor's Office. Applications for interest can be found here and will be routed to the Mayor for review.
